Promotional Period:  January 1^st 2025 to March 31^st 2025

1. Eligible participants:

• The JN Bank Small Business Loans (JNBSBL) Tell-A-Fren Referral Promotion is open to all members of the public who are 18 years or older save and except all employees (whether or not permanently employed) throughout The Jamaica National Group Limited (“JN Group”) and its subsidiaries namely: JN Money Services Limited, JN Financial Group Limited, MCS Group Limited, JN Bank Limited, JN Bank UK Limited, JN Small Business Loans Limited, JN Foundation, Management Control Systems Limited, Manufacturers Credit and Information Services Limited, The Creative Unit Limited, Total Credit Services Limited, JN Finance Limited, JN General Insurance Company Limited, JN Life Insurance Company Limited, Jamaica Automobile Association (Services) Limited, JN Fund Managers Limited, JN Properties Limited, JN Real Estate Company Limited, Jamaica Popular Investment Company Limited and JN Cayman as well as persons living in the same household and members of their immediate families (that is parents, siblings, spouse and children).

2. How to Enter:
   • Each existing JNBSBL client with an up-to-date loan that is not in arrears, who refers a friend (whether an existing or new client of JNBSBL) to open a loan account during January 1^st 2025 to March 31^st 2025 (“the Promotional Period”) will gain an entry into the Promotion if the person referred fully completes and submits a referral form.
   • Each person referred (“referee”) will be asked to complete a referral card which includes the full name and telephone number of the person who referred them (“the referrer”), along with their loan application form.
   • The completed form should be submitted by the referee to any JNBSBL Client Services Representative (CSR) or Client Relations Manager (CRM).

3. Grand Prize:

• The Grand Prizes have a total value of J$175,000 and are awarded as follows:

1st Place – JMD 100,000.00;

2nd Place – JMD 50,000.00;

3rd Place – JMD 25,000.00

 

4. Selection of Winners

Grand Prize Draw

• A successful referral is one where the 1) referee has accurately completed the JNBSBL referral card with the necessary information about the referrer; 2) the referrer has an active and up to date JNBSBL loan account that is not in arrears and 3) the referee has an active JNBSBL loan account that was opened during the promotional period and that account is not in arrears as at the last day of the promotion March 31^st 2025.
• At the end of the promotion, all completed referral cards will be compiled to form a database of the referrers who are considered Grand Prize entrants. The database will be forwarded to JN Bank’s Internal Audit Department for verification.
• To qualify for a Grand Prize, entrants must have a minimum of five (5) successful referrals.
• From the database of entrants, the top six (6) will be determined by choosing the referrers with the most successful referrals. The top three (3) entrants with the most successful referrals will be the main grand prize winners and the remaining three (3) will be considered back-up winners. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the number of back up entrants may number less than three (3) if we do not have enough successful referrers to constitute a top six (6).
• Subject to JN Bank’s ability to contact the individuals on the Grand Prize Draw Date as further outlined below, the entrant with the most successful referrals will win 1st place. Winners for 2nd and 3rd place will be the entrants with the 2nd and 3rd most successful referrals respectively. This will be the order of selection. In the event that there is a tie the two individuals will be separated based on who has the higher total loan disbursement dollar amount.
• On the grand prize draw date, each potential winner will be contacted by telephone. Three consecutive telephone attempts will be made to reach each potential winner. If JN Bank has exhausted the number of attempts and calls were unsuccessful, the next in line from the pre-selected back up potential winners will be selected. A failed attempt is when the phone rings without an answer, goes to voicemail, is busy or is answered by someone other than the winner the Bank is trying to reach. If after going through all potential winners and back-up potential winners in the database no winners are identified, the Bank has the right to retain the Prizes.
• The Grand Prize draw will take place on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the JN Bank location at 1 Holborn Road, Kingston, Jamaica.

 

5. Claiming of Prize

• Winners will be required to redeem prize within fourteen (14) days of being contacted by JN Bank and produce a valid government issued photo ID (Passport, Driver’s License or National Voters’ ID) in order to claim/collect the prize.

• Where the winner is unable to produce a valid government issued photo ID in the time provided, JN Bank reserves the right to retain the prize.

• **Prizes can only be redeemed as advertised and may not be transferred and or exchanged for any other form of compensation**

6. General Terms
   • By participating in the Promotion, all potential winners agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in the promotional material; and the decision(s) of JN Bank regarding all aspects of the Promotion will be final prior to approval from the BGLC.
   • By accepting Prizes, winners agree to take part in any publicity or promotional event(s) arranged by JN Bank surrounding the results of the Promotion, and that JN Bank may use their name, picture and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, without further compensation. If winners refuse, they will forfeit their prize.
   • To the fullest extent permitted by law, each person who accepts a prize in the Promotion is deemed to have waived any right that he/she has or may have against JN Bank and its officers, servants, employees, representatives and/or agents (including without limitation, any third party service providers or participating Merchants that JN Bank may engage for the purposes of the Promotion) in respect of any loss or damages howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with the Promotion even if JN Bank has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance.
   • JN Bank reserves the right to disqualify any transaction or participant, where JN Bank believes there has been tampering with the transaction or that the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of this Promotion has been impaired.
   • The Promotion and rules shall be exclusively governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.
