JNSBL’s Transition to JN Bank Small Business Loans Division
Why is JN making this change?
JN has made this change to serve you better. We will be providing more products and services geared at having an even greater impact on your business and other micro, small and medium enterprises across Jamaica. It will allow us to create solutions to support micro and small businesses at much faster pace, and assist with the growth of the entire sector.
Will my loan officer change?
No, your loan officer will remain the same and you can make contact in the same way. As is customary, if there is a change we will assign you to a new officer and let you know how you can communicate with them.
Will I be able to go to the same location to pay or apply for my loan?
A few of our locations will be relocated to JN Bank locations nearest to them. The Eastwood Park branch has already been moved to JN Bank, Half Way Tree. Linstead and Mandeville will be relocated to the JN Bank branch locations and Santa Cruz to a location close to the JN Bank branch where JNGI also provides its service. Our other locations have not changed and will remain the same in the short to medium term.
How will this change affect my loan? Will I have to pay more interest and will my loan terms change?
This change will not affect your loan in any way. You will continue to pay at the same interest rate and on the same terms as you do now.
So what will change then? Is JN abandoning micro businesses?
Absolutely not. All our products will be offered through the new JN Bank Small Business Loans Division. JN will continue to cater to the needs of your business and other businesses in the micro sector. We’re making this change so that we can serve you better.
Where can I go if I have questions or want more information?
Your loan officer will be more than happy to assist with any questions you have. You can also call our Relationship Centre at 876 948 7454/5, or visit the JN Bank Small Business Loan webpage on the JN Bank website, jnbank.com.
Will I still be able to make payments at the Post Office and GK Payments Services?
We will discontinue accepting payments via Post Offices and GK locations islandwide on May 31, 2022.
