Petal James, Chief of Branches, JN Bank

In the absence of face-to-face meetings, due to restrictions imposed because of the global pandemic, the JN Bank Canada Representative Office will be hosting a series of virtual information sessions starting in May.

The meetings will be facilitated by and hosted through various Jamaican-Canadian community organisations so that we can directly connect with our customers and members. Topics of interest will be discussed, such as JN Bank account maintenance and property ownership in Jamaica.

The first meeting, which will engage members of the Jamaica Association of Montreal, will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

Petal James, chief of branches at JN Bank, and other representatives from The Jamaica National Group, will address participants on several important topics. These include:

  • Services offered by The JN Group
  • Banking in Jamaica in the pandemic
  • Saving in JN Bank from Canada
  • Money transfer services
  • Paying your property tax through JN Bank

This is the first in a series of meetings expected to be held with various Caribbean/Canadian organisations on a monthly basis.
