During his recent visit to London, The Rt Hon Governor General of Jamaica, Sir Patrick Linton Allen, ON, GCMG CD,ย  showed his support for the announcement that JN Group had obtainedย  a UK banking licence from the relevant authorities.

He was the special guest of honour at two events in the UK hosted by Hon. Earl Jarrett, CEO JN Group and other members of the JN leadership team.

Invited guests included Peers from the House of Lords (the upper house of Parliament of the UK) and influential business leaders in the UK financial services sector.

The Governor General commended Earl Jarrett and his team on this historic achievement and cited that this was the first Caribbean bank to be awarded a full banking licence in the UK.ย  He also spoke of his delight in knowing that JN had so many loyal friends and associates in the UK Diaspora who are committed to support this initiative.
