Frederick Pragnell

Chief – Process Improvement and Innovation

Specialising in leveraging FinTech to transform financial institutions, Frederick Pragnell was promoted to Chief – Process Improvement and Innovation in October 2023, with responsibility to lead the Bank’s digital transformation.

He first joined JN Bank as Head – Digital Banking in 2018 to lead the bank’s digital initiatives to better target customers and improve operational efficiency.

Prior to joining JN Bank, he worked in Europe as a Consultant for French multinational company, Capgemini Consulting, where he provided guidance on a number of projects relating to retail banking, banking infrastructure and operating efficiency leveraged by technological innovation. Through his work with Capgemini Consulting, Mr. Pragnell has worked on projects for several major multinational companies, including Coca Cola European Partners, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Bank and Thames Water Ltd.

Mr. Pragnell holds a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice from the BPP University in London. Additionally, he holds an MA from University College London in English and Philosophy as well as a BA (Hons – First Class) in English Literature from Royal Holloway University of London.

Mr. Pragnell is a keen writer and amateur sportsman. He has also volunteered in the past, with lay legal work in inner city communities.
