Ricardo Dystant, BSc, MBA

Chief – Operations and Information Technology (Acting)

Ricardo Dystant is the Chief – Operations and Information Technology (Acting) at JN Bank, with oversight of branch operations and the bank’s information technology systems to include its digital channels.

He previously served JN Bank as Chief- Digital Transformation and Special Projects from 2020 to 2023.

Since joining what was then the Jamaica National Building Society in 2006 as a Senior Clerk in the Compliance and Security department, Ricardo has enjoyed an accelerated career path with the organisation, working as: Risk Analyst; Business Development Specialist; and Manager – eChannels and Discount Business.

He has acted as Interim General Manager for JN affiliate, JN Cayman during 2015-2016 and was appointed Head, e-Business at JN Bank in 2017, with responsibility for implementing technological solutions and upgrades to the ATM network and to maintain a consistent high quality member experience across the JN Bank network.

Mr Dystant holds a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from The University of the West Indies and a BSc. in Computing and Information Technology from the University of Technology Jamaica.
