What brought you to JNSBL?
Before working with JNSBL, I worked with the National Development Bank Of Jamaica. The bank was being merged with the Agricultural Credit Bank to form the Development Bank of Jamaica, and I opted to leave. I applied to JNSBL which was just being formed and was offered the job of Credit and Risk Assessment Manager which I accepted.
What has the 20-year journey been like?
The 20 year-journey has been a wonderful experience. I have met a lot of clients and have seen a number of businesses grow. I have also experienced the growth in the portfolio and in JNSBL across all areas. ย I have witnessed growth in the number of clients and the value of our loan portfolio; in the number of locations we operate from,ย in our financial performance, and development of our staff members.
What do you love most about JNSBL?
I love how we live as a family at JNSBL among all staff members. I love how we are able to see the growth in our clients. They start off small and we see them flourish into successful businesses. We also have a great relationship with our customers.
What would you love to see happen for JNSBL over the next 20 years?
I would love us to be able to double our clientele and expand our operations to Caribbean countries and the United Kingdom where JN recently launched JN Bank.
